Where it is played
The tournament takes place on the Costa del Maresme, in Barcelona. The facilities are spread across several points along the coast, all a short distance from the teams' accommodation.
The Maresme is a region worth visiting all year round, combining the appeal of a well-known international destination with the culture, gastronomy and traditions of its local festivals.
Accommodation
Footvia provides multiple accommodation options for the participating teams. We adapt the proposal to the size of the travelling party, the meal plan the club needs and the available budget.
Tell us in the quote request how many players, coaches and companions are travelling and we will put together the option that fits best.
Transfers
We coordinate the pick-up at Barcelona airport on arrival day, the journeys between the accommodation and the pitches during the tournament, and the return transfer to the airport on the last day.
Activities and leisure
In the summer edition, free mornings are spent at the beach and the pool, and the welcome ceremony brings all the delegations together on Friday.
For teams extending their stay with the 7 and 8-day programmes, we arrange training sessions, friendly matches and sightseeing around Barcelona.
Frequently asked questions
Who can take part in the FIT?
Clubs, academies and youth selections from any country, within the boys' categories called for each edition. Age is determined by year of birth.
What does registration include?
Each proposal is built around the size of the travelling party. It normally includes tournament entry, accommodation, meals and transfers. Request your quote and we will detail every service.
How many players can I register?
In 7v7, between 9 and 14 players. In 11v11, between 14 and 22 players.
How many matches will my team play?
It depends on the size of the group. Every team plays the full single-round group stage and then the corresponding knockout rounds. No team is knocked out after a single match: every team is guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches.
Can we extend our stay?
Yes. We put together tailor-made sports programmes with training sessions, friendlies and sightseeing around Barcelona.
Do you organise airport transfers?
Yes. We coordinate the pick-up at Barcelona or Girona airport, the journeys to the pitches during the tournament and the return transfer.
What languages do you work in?
We look after delegations in Spanish, English and French throughout the tournament.
